Unique Pre-K Programs – CASY offers three Pre-K classrooms, MWF / M-F / Junior K. These three offerings are designed to prepare students to excel in kindergarten. Many teachers and parents agree that most students who attend our Pre-K programs have mastered most, if not all, of the academic skills of a typical kindergarten program. This academic achievement is accomplished in a fun preschool setting that still allows lots of time for art, P.E, science, music, dramatic and free play.

Learning Through Play

Academics are woven into fun and engaging activities throughout the day.  Language development, phonemic awareness, 1-1 correspondence, science and more come to life when implemented by our teaching professionals. Enrichment Classes in the afternoon include gymnastics, dance, yoga, painting, arts, crafts, science experiments, karaoke and drama, as well as activities included in the morning preschool.

Enrichment Classes

Extended Day was designed to give students a quality preschool experience in a less structured environment than in our morning program. Low ratios provide for close supervision.  Daily activities include computer games, board games, learning activities, story time, craft projects, art, puzzles, building, housekeeping, and more.  Many of the activities reinforce what goes on in the mornings. Less structure encourages creativity, cooperative learning, listening and communication skills.  Supervision and activities are directed by regular CASY teachers.

Music has played an important role in every culture throughout the recorded history. Brain research confirms that musical activity improves thinking and actually creates physical changes in the brain that no other activity can duplicate. .

When I examine myself and my method of thought, I come to the conclusion that the gift of fantasy has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing knowledge. - Albert Einstein
